Help Put STEM Into More Hands

901STEM brings together donors, volunteers, educators, schools, businesses, and community partners to create more opportunities for students to experience meaningful, hands-on STEM learning across Memphis and Shelby County.

Whether you give, volunteer, partner with us, or introduce others to our mission, you can help students explore new ideas, build confidence, and discover their potential through STEM.

Give

Turn Your Support Into STEM Opportunities

Your donation helps 901STEM provide hands-on learning experiences, practical resources, 901STEM Spark Grants, and community partnerships.

Every gift matters. Your support can help purchase materials for a student activity, introduce a classroom to new STEM tools, or fund a complete $1,000 Spark Grant for a local school or educational organization.

Your Gift Can Help

  • $50 helps provide supplies and materials for hands-on STEM learning.
  • $100 supports new STEM tools, projects, and student experiences.
  • $250 funds one-quarter of a 901STEM Spark Grant.
  • $1,000 fully funds one 901STEM Spark Grant for a local school or educational organization.

Monthly giving provides dependable support throughout the year:

  • $10 per month provides $120 annually toward STEM materials and learning opportunities.
  • $25 per month provides $300 annually—30% of a Spark Grant.
  • $50 per month provides $600 annually—more than half of a Spark Grant.
  • $100 per month provides $1,200 annually—enough to fully fund one Spark Grant with additional support for other STEM programs and resources.

Gifts to 901STEM support our overall mission and allow us to direct resources where they can make the greatest impact.

Volunteer

Share Your Time and Talents

Volunteers help 901STEM bring hands-on learning experiences to life and strengthen the work happening behind the scenes.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • Supporting STEM workshops and community events
  • Helping organize and prepare activity materials
  • Assisting students during hands-on projects
  • Sharing STEM knowledge or professional experience
  • Helping evaluate grant applications
  • Contributing communications, fundraising, technology, or administrative skills
  • Representing 901STEM at community events

You do not need to be a scientist, engineer, or STEM expert to make a difference. If you care about helping students learn, explore, and grow, there may be a place for you.

Partner With Us

Let’s Expand Access Together

901STEM works with schools, nonprofit organizations, universities, businesses, community groups, and other partners to expand access to meaningful STEM learning.

Partnerships can take many forms:

  • Hosting a STEM workshop or student experience
  • Supporting or expanding an existing program
  • Providing equipment, materials, facilities, or expertise
  • Connecting employee volunteers with local students
  • Sponsoring a 901STEM Spark Grant
  • Helping us identify unmet needs and promising opportunities
  • Introducing more students and families to existing STEM programs

We believe meaningful impact does not always require creating something new. When something is already working, we look for ways to amplify it. When a gap exists, we work with community partners to help fill it.

Workplace & Corporate Giving

Bring Your Organization Into the Mission

Businesses can support 901STEM through charitable contributions, sponsorships, employee volunteer activities, matching gifts, in-kind donations, and community partnerships.

A business or employee group can:

  • Fund one or more $1,000 901STEM Spark Grants
  • Sponsor a workshop or community STEM experience
  • Donate tools, technology, equipment, or materials
  • Provide subject-matter experts or employee volunteers
  • Match employee donations
  • Include 901STEM in a workplace-giving campaign
  • Help connect students with STEM careers and professionals

If your employer offers a matching-gift program, your donation to 901STEM may be eligible for additional support.

Share Our Mission

You can also help by telling others about 901STEM.

Share our programs with educators, schools, families, community organizations, and businesses that want to help students discover their potential through STEM. A simple introduction, social-media post, or conversation can connect us with a new supporter, volunteer, partner, or grant applicant.

Together, we can create more opportunities for students to build, experiment, solve problems, and imagine what is possible.
